I had a superb stay at the Excelsior Hotel Nurnberg Furth! The staff were really friendly and accommodating, and I loved the unique pyramid room. The hotel is conveniently located near Playmobil Fun Park, making it a perfect choice for a family trip. com. I highly recommend this hotel for a fantastic experience.

Had requested an additional bed during reservation and did not get the bed or a notice that we couldn't have it while staying there. That meant someone slept on floor. Not happy at all about that so verify via phone before commiting.

Breakfast was nice

Beds are too soft, beds for kids were totally impossible (extremely hard, one could feel every bedspring). Impossible to sleep on and have some relax overnight.

Fun pyramid shape, spacious room, clean, friendly staff, perfect location.

It's located in a small town, at least 10 km away from a major city.

The hotel location is quite nice, as it is close to the motorways and there are good restaurants nearby. the restaurant offers limited but excellent food options, and the staff is polite and attentive. Parking is available for free on the street only during the night, which is a plus.

The room quality leaves a lot to be desired as they are dated and have a transparent window separating the bathroom and bedroom.

Interesting layout

We happened to stay during an extensive renovation (apparently due 1 Sep), so not everything was up to expected standard. We recommend the family fun package including entries to the fabulous Playmobil park (fabulous up to about age 6 that is...).

Comfortable double bed. The pyramid was exciting for the kids. Very good breakfast with a lot to choose from.

We booked a package with tickets to Playmobil Fun Park and we should also have got a "freezing surprise" that we never got. The location of the hotel was not that fun with motorways close to it. The Internet access was very expensive (8 Euros an hour is way too much) and the parking was a bit expensive too.

Had a great Xmas experience here. The welcome drink was fantastic and set the mood just right. The location was ideal for exploring the town, with a good connection to the city center. I really enjoyed the nice views from the hotel room.

The beds were not very comfortable, and there were not enough pillows. The bathroom could use some work as well, with unstable water temperature and no coffee making facilities.

Ticket for Playmobile included in price. Suggestion that underground parking is cheaper than this one located at street level. Huge breakfast.

Family room is indeed to small for young children.

I had a great experience staying at this 4-star hotel. The location was perfect for me as it was near the clinic where I needed to go for appointments. Additionally, it was conveniently located near the main autoroute, making it easy for me to get around the city.

I would highly recommend this hotel to families.

The restaurant staff served quickly, even though they were extremely busy. Food was very good.
